I just returned from a saturday afternoon walk with a friend through the forest. It's been so cold and I'm going to heat myself up with a cup of tea now. Wish you a great weekend.

Sky

After many, many cold rainy days we finally had sun today. Amazing how much better I felt just because of the bright blue sky. And see how colorful it looks this evening, isn't it great? To bad that I'm not a good photographer ;-)

Beads are in the kiln, I'm gonna upload them tomorrow.

Faces

A new set inspired by my friend Anna Diruf. She's a great painter and she mainly does huge colorful paintings of women faces as she is fascinated by them. Unfortunately she has none of her work online somewhere, but she just finished an amazing photo book with her work and I keep my fingers crossed for her that she soon will find a great location for showing her work to public.

First snow!

Hey everybody, today we had the first snow here in Bamberg. I wanted to take a pic, but now it's already gone into a muddy cold rainy something...

I worked a lot the last days and have a few new sets in my Etsy store. Instead of offering two big sets I splitted them into smaller sets (Pineaplle 1 + 2, Colorado 1 + 2). So you have the chance to buy them together if you want to have more, or just take one of the smaller sets, but they would match perfectly, also I arranged them a bit different.

My friend Linda sent me a few pics from my class in Eugene this august and I want to share them with you as I didn't show much of those so far.


The dog on the pic is Brutus, Sam's pug. He helped me to get over my Emma-hang-over (can I say it like that?). Anyhow, he's cute!


Later on I will add a few new sets and focals on Etsy, so just keep coming back to my side during the day to see if I updated my shop.

Hey everybody!

How are you? I'm good, nothing new from me so far. I'm working on a few new sets and will add them on Etsy this week, maybe tomorrow or on thursday. On saturday I made several real cool focals, but I had a bad bead kharma, so all beads cracked and I still have no explanation therefore (except the bead maker!). Unfortunately, days like those happen ...

These beads are quite fun to play with and explore the different shades of the transparent colors.

Earth Prayer

I have two new sets on Etsy. "Earth Prayer" is made with different transparents layered over each other and I really like that fading effect.
