Proud to present ...

that one of my fairy beads is chosen by the ISGB to be printed on their new ISGB Platinum Visa card. I'm so happy and honored about that!

Lazy Day
So, these three beads are the result of yesterday.
I made a third one after I blogged the last post.
Two of them are available in my ETSY-Store now.
Wish you a great weekend.

What to do...
I'm have to admit, I am having a really lazy day!
Well, not really lazy, but also not productive concerned to doing beads. I woke up early, cleaned my kitchen, reorganized my kitchen, made two beads (JUST two) and spend a lot of time in front of the computer, am drinking coffee... and try to talk myself into going back to the torch...
When my students tell me that they have an uncreative day or don't feel like torching I always tell them "then just don't do it - your beads won't look nice on days like that anyway" – so that's why I stay away from the torch today. Following my own rules...and instead of doing something else.
So I turned this bead I made yesterday into a pendant. The green was called "Grasshopper green" from Moretti, I bought just one 1/3 rod at THE MANDREL in LA, when I've been teaching there last october. I was not sure if it is also available here in Germany and wanted to try it. Usually I'm not a green person when it comes to glass, because most greens are reacting, spreading in a certain way and I don't like that. But this green looks nice, let's see if I find it also at a german supplier (propably it's just a simple basic color and I just did never see it because I don't buy green glass :-). Have a nice, lazy weekend.

New set on ETSY, with my signature design - the satellites "painted" with hair fine black stringer work. Enjoy.
